I've been doing a little work this january, after a long absense. Hoping to keep it up. No more promises or plans. I'm just going to post when I can!

My "Just Draw" project is certainly wavering. I'm at about 40-50% of the drawings I should have, because I typically miss three or four days and then do two or three drawings to catch up. However, my homemade Cintiq is finally up and running in a totally useable form. Buildlog on Bongofish.co.uk: http://lnk.ie/5GWB I'm going to continue the "Just Draw" project, but layering on top of that is my goal of 30 sketches and 3 finished pieces on the tablet before I can make any more improvements to it. I'm also hoping to take part in NaNoWriMo again this year, so that'll eat into my time. November is going to be very very busy. I hope =)

Last 6 months I've been spending any time I would normally use for art to build my own homemade cintiq tablet using an Intuous 4, a 15.4" LCD Screen and an old laptop. Project is progressing nicely, but still needs some work. I'm hoping to also just draw some stuff this month. I am engaging in a self created art revival program called "Just draw!" in which I will post one rushed, dodgy drawing each day of something new. Watch this space. (PS: if it has been several months and there are no changes, you may stop watching this space)

Definitely getting back into the flow of things after so long. Have rediscovered my all time favorite pen, the cheapest plain black papermate biro. Yes it's cheap, but it can do pencil-like shading and doesn't leak. It also gives me great confidence to use on sketches because I can control the shading. I'll post some full pieces using it soon. If you're curious, one of my earliest deviations 'goliath 2' was drawn with a papermate 2000

Been posting away but didn't realise my last journal entry was so long ago... gah! Hope you like the new stuff, have decided to post lots and lots and lots of WIP work and see what people like, then I can work on that instead.
